Gary Evans (left) and his son, Garrison Evans (right), are the co-owners of Evans Electrical, a highly esteemed electrical contractor company. Gary’s passion for electrical work began during his fourth year at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. After college, he built a reputation as an electrical expert at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Church Office Building in Salt Lake City. During this time, he also assisted esteemed church leaders, including President Thomas S. Monson and Boyd K. Packer, with their personal electrical needs.
Seeking new opportunities, Gary and his wife moved their family of six children where he worked at Schreiber’s Manufacturing, overseeing all electrical components of the factory. His career later extended to Albion, a nutrition plant, where he honed his electrical skills further until his dream of founding Evans Electrical began to take shape alongside his son, Garrison.
Garrison worked under his father’s supervision for years, quickly mastering the electrical trade. He took on the responsibility of collaborating with general contractors seriously, building lasting relationships. In 2009, amidst a slow economy, Garrison joined STF Electric in Salt Lake City, where he gained extensive commercial electrical experience, working on projects like the University of Utah Mental Health Hospital, Oquirrh Mountain Temple, and the Mount Timpanogos Temple remodel.
The Evans’ hard work and dedication led Evans Electrical to expand, partnering with major home builders like Salt City Construction and Ivory Homes. Today, their skilled team collaborates with companies such as Killowen Construction, Summit Contractors, Mountainland Construction, and renowned designers like Studio McGee and Kimberly Parker Designs, offering exceptional electrical expertise to their clients in Park City areas and beyond.
